price not showing correct

Hi, Just installed the latest version of zencart.
Added a product and set the price as £12
It is showing up as £6.04

Any clues why that is? and how to fix it?

This is the first time using zencart or any other ecommerce software so this is just all new to me.

Go to Admin - Localization - Currencies, set your default currency to GB pound, and set the value to 1.000000
