I want to create a new link in front of the Home / Login links.
And change the Home to be My Store, or even just store.
I have been looking for the tpl_header but i couldnt find it.

Also i would like to add a favicon. how can i do that.

It needs to be in your template if changed - if not changed the default copy is at
includes/templates/template_default/common

And change the Home to be My Store, or even just store.

You need a grpahic app that can savw a 16X16px image as a .ico file

If you meant .ico then ok...if it is .iso that won't work easily

Name it favicon.ico and place it at the root of your web space
For some this is public_html - - others

And i already have it there but it still doesnt show up. my link is

Search for the word home check files returned for a DEFINE for home
It will be like

  define('HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG', 'Home');
  define('HEADER_TITLE_LOGOFF', 'Log Out');
  define('HEADER_TITLE_LOGIN', 'Log In');

Change only what is between the single quotes leavw them intact or you will break things

Try the tool but this is in /includes/languages/english/header.php file
