Default Paypal checkout problem - price is wrong - AUD

    Hi all,

    Having a slight problem.
I have had Paypal express set up on my site for payments from non Australian customers without a problem.
I have it set to non Australian zones so it only appears on overseas customers pages.

This week I changed the setting to 'no zone' so I could allow my Australian customers to use it also.

The paypal payment module is set to Australian currency only.

The strange thing is, from one customer:

'when paying / total came to $210 plus post $3 - $213 total . When I went to check out the total on paypal and the c/c payment screen came to $ 264.27'

I did a test run and ordered $250 worth of stock. It added the correct postage giving a total of $253. When I went to checkout and logged into paypal the total was now $313!!!

(I did a currently conversion on paypal just to check if it was thinking it was in US dollars. If this was the case it would only have come to $276 not $313!!)

I checked my paypal account and my primary currency is also set to Australian dollars.

Any ideas on why this is going so horribly wrong - when before when it was set to overseas zones only it worked perfectly???

Where else have I missed checking or unchecking some setting?

    Phil

Is your PayPal module in your store set to use AUD? Or something else?
Are the currency exchange rates set correctly in your admin? Are they all set with the correct ISO currency codes?
What currency are your customers shopping in?

Could it be taxes that are throwing it off? Perhaps shipping too? or a combination of both?

    All fixed!

Is your PayPal module in your store set to use AUD? Yes it was

Are the currency exchange rates set correctly in your admin? This was the beast that upset the apple cart!!
USD was set as the primary currency, as the exchange rate hadn't been updated for a year anyway.
Set the primary currency to AUD, and the rate as 1.00 = 1.00 and it was good to go.

Are they all set with the correct ISO currency codes? Yes

What currency are your customers shopping in? AUD

Could it be taxes that are throwing it off? Perhaps shipping too? or a combination of both? No

Finally did a couple of test purchases and paypal reflected the correct figures.
