Surfs Up Template Support Tread

Hi maxy007,

To change the images for the box headings, you will need to do this from the stylesheet.css file in the template folder. The ones I have done are background images and from the looks of it the one you there is a main/forground image. I havent had a chance to look at your code properly but I think you may be adding the image in the sidebox file instead of the css file.

I will have some free time later and will take a look at it properly for you.

I'm looking at it now and I think I've got it. Only thing is there is too much space between the heading and the link.
From what I'm looking at i think it's the stylesheet headings file.
Will try and change a couple more and report back!!

Yayyyy!!!
It was the stylesheet headings.php file!!

Do you know how I'd add alt text to the other images?
I can see when I put my mouse over the Good to know heading it shows the text Good to Know.

none of the headings do it, and I can't find the file I need to add ALT TEXT: to

The headings are all background images, so I dont think there would be any ALT text for them.

The one you did is a forground image so it could have alt text no problem.

If you try and do what you did for the Good To Know heading on the other headings then that should solve your problem.

By the way, a friend of mine sells those vape ciggies, and he also started usign them 2 years ago and hasnt touched a real ciggy since. About to start using them myself, and with any luck be off the ciggies before long. :)

I don't know what I did because I created a new sidebox so it could be anywhere!!!

I haven't touched a "real" smoke in just under 6 months!!! These things are awesome.
As soon as I picked up my starter kit.. I never touched another ciggie. Bloody amazing for me!!

Hi again DB,
I'd like to increase the size of the footer and add an image.
The image is w 173x H 225 pixels.

How do I change the height of the footer?

I am having a problem downloading the Surfs-up template. I download it and get the zip file but when I unzip it I cant get a single main file to upload to zencart. All I get is the internel files (Fonts Includes source sql licence and readme).
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I just followed all of those instructions for installing Surf-Up but when I go to template selection it is still not there. Is there any way that I can get a complete file so that I can just upload it to templates like with most of the other templates and it just automatically show in template selecton?
I really like the look of this template and hope somebody can tell me what else I need to do

Hi thestampnomad,

You should be able to just upload it as any other template, and it should show in the Templates list in admin as normal.
Check that you have uploaded it to the proper locations.
