    Default Restoring selected MYSQl data

    Hi Everyone,

Am using 1.38. Just done a stupid move. Have deleted my zencart shop catagorie details etc. The shop settings are still there, as is the contacts and contacts buy details are still in the database. Can someone refresh me on how to upload to the database selected data that has been deleted.
As the backup sql is a week old, I still need the current customer details list that are on the original dbase as it's couple of days old to remain.

    Thanks.

Long solution but if no else reply you might want to consider.

Create a new database on the server.

Upload the backup database to the new database.

Then export the tables you want to copy over to your old database.

Otherwise you would search the sql file for the blocks that start with the tables you want to copy and copy and paste them on the server.

I like option one since there are less chance for mistakes.
