PHP 5 mods - backward compatible?
Okay, this may be a stupid question ....but to save time trying to figure out what's changed by comparing code, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if the patches for making ZC 1.3.8 compatible with PHP 5.3:
...are backward compatible or not?
I have a live server which has not yet been upgraded, though my host wants to but were not yet sure in what time frame this will take place. If I go ahead and patch my local development copy and upgrade my development machine, will I still be able to upload things to the live server (running PHP 4.?) ....or will I have to wait until they perform the PHP upgrade first?
Re: PHP 5 mods - backward compatible?
I've not encountered any problems using it on PHP 4
