Can i place Payment method (Credit card/ paypal) in shopping_cart page?

Hi al,

My requirement is can i place credit card/ paypal info on shopping cart page??

pls help.

Let me be clear..

I badly need credit card/paypal (payment method) on my shopping_cart page itself..

i have tried all mods, FEC, one page checkout.. nothing worked.

i manually tried placing tat (payment method) div on shopping_cart page

It didn't work.

Expectin ur replies.

I think you would have to do some major rewriting of the checkout code to accomplish that. Why do you need it on that page?

You need rather to explain to your client that shopping cart and checkout are TWO SEPARATE FUNCTIONS.

When he/she goes to the supermarket, I don't think that they go to a shelf, take one item then pay for it... Then they go back inside to another shelf, take another item and then pay for that one, then go inside again to another shelf.....

They fill a trolley FIRST, and when they have all they need, they go to the cashier...

What your client wants just does not make practical sense, and you should tell them so.
