I need to add sales tax processing to my store. I've looked through the FAQs and stickies, but haven't found instruction on how to do this. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Here's my situation:
- store located in CA
- all good subject to state sales tax
- from another thread (CA sales tax), it appears that I can simplify my tax rates to in-county and out-of-county. Two tax rates, that's it. (For this reason, I'd prefer not to use the module in this thread if possible; I want to keep this simple.)
Can someone give me (or point me toward) a synopsis of what I need to do? Thanks.
