Atribbute requirements

Hey there,

I am building a lingerie store on the latest version of zen cart (clean install). I was just wodnering how I go about setting an attribute that requires another attribte [and checks stock].

Here's an example of what I need:

I have pink bras, size 32A, 32B and 32C
I have black bras, size 34A, 34B and 32C

How do I set it so that when a customer selects "pink" only the "32A, 32B and 32C" options appear, and not the "34A, 34B" of the black attribute?

And how do I change the stock levels of Pink size 32C but not Pink size 32B or black 32C?

To sum up, I need certain attribtues to be shown when others are selected, and I nee specific attribute stock levels.

That's called 'dependent attributes' and you can't do that in Zencart now. There is a Stock By Attributes mod in the Free Software Add Ons area.

Thanks for the quick reply, have just installed the stock attributes mod, thanks!

How would I go about getting dependent attributes to work? Is there amod available? It seems pretty silly to remove an option that is pretty important!

There is no mod, despite many requests over the years, which leads me to believe it would be a very difficult thing to write, or someone would be selling such a mod by now.
