Load additional images into product images

Hey,

Currently on 1.3.8 i have a setup where when the customer highlights over the image, it magnifys it using javascript. Also, when the user clicks an additional image it pops up in an external popup.

How do I get additinoal images to load into the origional product image? And then the origional product image to display in the additional images box?

This is a custom script. But when I had the originoal style, I managed to get the products to load into the product image (basically swap them) rather than loading up in a popup.

I'm not actually looking for a tool to magnify them, I just want additional images to swap pace with the product image!
