    Default Adding custom input boxes

I need to add input boxes for name and date next to the check box that the customer needs to tick when "Confirm Terms and Conditions During Checkout Procedure" is set to true in admin-configuration-regulations. All the products require agreeing to the non-disclosure agreement and the name and date boxes are necessary. Can you give me some ideas how to implement that?

Adding fields to the checkout process can be tricky. Considering that the customer will be checking that he agrees to the non-disclosure, wouldn't the name he gives when creating an account, and the date/time stamp on the order be good enough ?

Remember that checkout will already involve capturing (and/or cross-referencing) the user's personal details, and will also time-stamp the event.

This may just therefore be a case of indicating to the user (via a screen message, easily inserted with a php echo command) that their details and the date of the transaction have been recorded, and are therefore associated with their acknowledgement of the Terms and Conditions.

Ok so how would I insert their full name and date into "I, FULLNAME, agree to the conditions, etc. DATE" at the checkout?

FULLNAME must be referencing the billing name of course.

As stated, this can be tricky and will involve additional code added to php files, as well as changes to the database. It is probably not a solution that can be given quickly by helpers on the forum.

You may consider posting a help wanted request in the Commercial Help section of the forum.
