Products with no add to cart or sold out etc.

I am using ZenCart 1.3.7.1, I have a current store live with products available to buy.

I now need to set up a new category of products which are just 'courses', these are not available to buy, so I don't require a add to cart button or price/sold out sign etc. They should just be informative pages with an image. Trouble is, no matter what configuration I try one of these additional notifications always appear.

The only thing I can think of is giving the page a body class some how depending on category then hiding the options but this is not ideal and i'd like to find another way.

What is the best way to go about doing this? (I can't use ez pages because of the way the site was set up).

Create a new category, then save it, then go back and edit it, at the bottom you will now have the option "Restrict to Product Type", select from the drop down menu Document General/Document Product etc

Oops , almost forgot, then you need to go into Layout Boxes Controller in the Tools menu and switch on sideboxes/document_categories.php
