Zone Shipping Help - Calculation
I just switched from Oscommerce to Zen Cart.
I had my OScommerce webstore set up with zone shipping. I had broken down my calculations as such.
1oz = .10 = 1.17
2oz = .15 = 1.34
3oz = .20 = 1.51
4oz = .25 = 1.68
5oz = .35 = 1.85
6oz = .40 = 2.02
7oz = .45 = 2.19
8oz = .55 = 2.36
9oz = .60 = 2.53
10oz = .65 = 2.70
11oz = .70 = 2.87
120z = .75 = 3.04
13oz = .85 = 3.21
14oz = .90 = 4.55
15oz = .95 = 4.55
16oz = 1.00 = 4.55
When I enter these values for the products, it doesn't add up correctly in Zen Cart.
Oscommerce = 0.5:2.19,1:4.55,1.5:6.00, etc....
When I do this same formula in Zen Cart, two items that are entered at .35 each, add up to 7lbs in Zen Cart.
How does zen cart break down the weight classification? I've searched and searched and can't seem to find the answer.
Hopefully I'm being clear enough, sorry if this confuses anyone, I'm confused myself.
Re: Zone Shipping Help - Calculation
Check the settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... for the Maximum Value and the Tare Rates ...
What do you have those set to?
Keep in mind that the weight is entered in Pounds ...
