    Default didnt store credit card details

    HI There,

    I had an order come through and it didn't send the email the middle credit card digits for the order... nor did it save the partial credit card details.

    The order is there and personal customer details are there only.

    We have received another order since and all details have been received.

    Is this just Zen cart playing up?

    Sounds like something happened... This module depends heavily upon the reliability of the server's smtp... if there is a hiccup the middle digits can be forever lost.

    The stock CC module was an old (but useful to many) addon that broke PCI and was removed in the new versions.

    Now you state that the cc details did not record in the admin section with the address info. This module doesn't stop working and then start working...It leads me to believe that the server had an issue at the same time as this transaction processed.

    If you are on a cpanel server, the 11.25 software did have a bug from log rotation that caused the server to stall out, causing apache and some other services to restart all the time. This could have been the culprit.

    Thanks for the response.

    The server I am on does use Cpanel and Apache.

    The web host I use has barely ever had an issue with web or email server so I will assume it was breif hiccup with SMTP at the time. I'm hosted on a shared server so could have edited SMTP settings or restarted services at the time etc..
