Default Making payments using a Intuit Quickbooks Merchant Account

Is their a way to make payments using my Intuit Quickbooks Merchant Services Account. The guy I talked to at Intuit says they don't support Zencart, but there is a 2007 Quickbooks Import QBI plugin that says it has an online payment gateway. Would this work for V1.5.1? Or do I need to pay for another 3rd party payment gateway? I already have the Paypal plugin installed. I just want to make it easier for my customers who don't have a paypal account.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

One doesn't need a Paypal account to pay through Paypal.

On the 11th use of an email address, PayPal does require a PayPal account to be created. The only workaround is to use a different email address.

I know, PP speaks with forked tongue when merchants use the "No PayPal account required text" to describe their payment methods. A customer may have used the email address 10 times elsewhere on the internet and the 11th use is on your site and then the customer receives PayPal account required message. The customer is grumpy at you for using language that a PP account is not required.

    Re: QuickBooks Merchant Account.

Tom, you might ask QB what their specific requirements are for you to use their merchant account to accept online payments. Many retail, card present merchant accounts cannot be used to accept online payments due to the terms of service of the merchant account and other security requirements. Been there, Done that, Got caught.

The other thing and as identified in the thread for QBI import 2007, basically the code has been abandoned as a free module and is now available as a commercial product. Apprently management of it became more than manageable as a free item... Always welcome to revive it and make it functional if able/allowed as RixStix pointed out.

    Tom R,

You can use SuperManager to export your orders to QuickBooks, including the payment information and then charge the orders from within QuickBooks. Are you using QuickBooks version for desktop or online edition? Currently SuperManager only supports the desktop version.
