"1366 Incorrect string value" during installation

what do you think the problem is ?

My Configurations are:
Apache 2.2.15
MySQL 5.1.45
PHP 5.3.2

each installed as stand alone.

You are trying to install using UTF-8, when the Zen Cart SQL files are encoded as ISO-8859-1.
Use ISO-8859-1 or Western-Latin1 or equivalent instead.

I changed the database character set but the following need to change too:

set global character_set_connection = latin1;

set global collation_connection = latin1_bin;

and the set up continued to"congradulation page". But when i access the shop main page (http://localhost/shop/index.php), I get "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
