Columns vs. Rows... not recognizing

Hello folks,

recently updated my site by saving a copy of my database, renaming, installing 1.3.9 into a new directory, updating with copied database and renaming directories to match current site set up. Everything is running pretty much seamlessly minus one thing: Under product listing we have columns selected and its showing as rows. Even have 4 selected as the number of columns per row. Do I need to download and repatch the 1.3.8 patch that someone made a while back or will that mess with our cart even more?

Column/grid is a 3rd party module
Did you reinstall it?

I didn't, and I guess that's what I was asking. Do I need to reinstall it and would the patch work with 1.3.9. I'll give that a try
