Text/image display question on attributes in the product info AND checkout pages

Hey gang,

I need to find a way to have my text in the attribute selections (next to the radio buttons) appear as different colors (or at least show a descriptive icon to the right of the text), THEN also have either of those 2 'appearances' show up in the shopping cart through the checkout process also.

I'm trying to make sure the customer knows EXACTLY what they are getting. If they purchase a bunch of different SKUs with the same attribute, they can scroll down the checkout page and the attributes 'pop' out at them. When it's all one color and font, it's too easy to miss and make an error purchasing the wrong attribute.

Using php code with the attribute in the product info page is fine, but once it's added to the cart and shows in the cart page, all the code appears along with the text.

Any suggestions?

This would require a good bit of custom coding...
So either you invest the time to custom code or you hire another to code it - - or give you the cost to do so - - So that you can decide how important this is to you/your customers
