Hello,
I can't find an answer to this in the tutorial or forum.
My client has a ZenCart 1.3.7.1 that has been running for a little over two years. The default currency is CAD and they also offer USD for american customers.
I setup a script that runs once a day, every day, to update the currency exchange rates.
Since the USD is stronger than the CAD, price in USD should appear cheaper, but it goes the other way arround. For example: product is 799.99 in the database, the default currency is CAD (value 1.00000000). If the site is set to CAD, it displays 799.99 fine, but when we switch to USD, it displays 821.26.
The USD is shown as value=1.02658498 in the admin. Shouldn't it be 0.8... ? Even when clicking the "update currency" button it stays at 1.2...
For testing purposes, I switched the default currency to USD and updated the currencies. When doing that, the price is higher in CAD, wich is correct. When going back to defsault=CAD, it behaves as described above.
I'll be thankful for any help because I'm out of options.
