Products Disappeared Suddenly

I have Zen Cart 1.3.9b installed; have several mods installed, working beautifully at least in non-live shop. I recently installed Military Discount mod and logged in to a user account to test it. After back and forth and changing the address to get the discount to trigger, I had a weird thing happen. I went back to test it once more, and my products went poof. They vanished. My site is still in the configuration stage so I really don't have many products; just two, for testing. But, when I went to test this mod a final time, those two products disappeared. I couldn't understand what happened.

When I went into Admin --> Catalog --> Categories / Products. Under the one category that has products added, it showed 0 of 2 active. I basically had to go back into category, sub-category and change the status. This was weird; this just happened on it's own while I was logged in as a user and testing out military discount mod during checkout process.

What would cause something like this to happen? Literally, my products just went poof on their own; I had to re-enable them.

Any suggestions?

May be a silly answer/question, but do you have products quantity to more than one? Once you purchase it, if you do have it to only one, you'll have no stock left.

I believe that depends on how it's been configured by ZhENerationX. I don't have my site show image or turn off the status - you can have either...

Sorry, that should say you're right, Marg. I actually did have products set to allow checkout even if item is out of stock, with note saying that product will take addl 1-3 day from order date to ship (back order); however, I just went into Admin --> Config --> Stock and saw that. fixed it. Thanks.
