New install problem

[palomapottery]

On a change to a different server, I now have the following condition.
http://www.mydomain/catalog/
displays the page layout without images or updated text.
However the url http://www.mydomain/catalog/index.ph..._page=specials
displays the page correctly. Any suggestions ?

Hello,

Please confirm if mod_Rewrite rules are enabled on the server ..and are you using correct rules in .htaccess or have uploaded the correct php.ini file under your account.
