Buy 2 Get 1 Free Discount?

Hello! Newbie here.....

I'm in the process of trying to get my site together and I'm stuck on the discount issue. All of my products need to be "BUY 2, GET 1 FREE".

I've searched all throughout this darn forum and can't find a direct answer. Could someone point me in the correct direction? I've looked at a few mods and don't think the ones listed are what I need.

Did I state my question clear enough? What I am looking for is:

When ANY 3 products are added to cart, the cheapest one becomes FREE automatically. Not with a coupon code.

If 6 of ANY product is added, the 2 cheapest become FREE. Etc, Etc. Again, done automatically without requiring a coupon code.

Anyone know of a code that I'd enter into one of my php pages to do this? Or a mod of some kind that isn't outrageously pricey? Free would be ideal, lol.
