Warning: Low Stock

Hi,

After upgrading from to v1.3.9c, we keep receiving the low stock email warning every time a new order comes in. This didn't happen in v1.3.7. Did something change? How do I fix this?

Check the Stock settings and see what you have the low stock set to and if you have the email settings turned on in the Emails ...

All the current v1.3.9 settings are the same as v1.3.7.
Stock Re-order level is 5.
Send Low Stock Emails is 1.

Why didn't I have this problem in v1.3.7 but now I do in v1.3.9 ? Did I do something wrong somewhere?

How many do you have in stock?

Send Low Stock is an on/off switch in the Email settings ...

The email goes out at or below the Stock Re-order level ...

I have 100 in stock for all products. The email is sent every time a new order comes in... it doesn't make sense.

So all stock levels on the products_quantity is > 5 on an order and you have reorder level at 5 and you are still getting this low stock email?

Browse the configuration database table for the configuration_key:
STOCK_REORDER_LEVEL

Make sure you only have 1 record in there for that configuration_key ...

Yes, that's correct. Other people are having the same problem.
I did a search and yes only have 1 record in there for the configuration_key of STOCK_REORDER_LEVEL.

So far I cannot reproduce this issue ...

I get the Low Stock Email when I hit the Low Stock Level and will continue to get the Low Stock Email every time the Product is sold until it has its products_quantity raised about the Low Stock level ...

Which file(s) control this? Perhaps I can upload the original file(s) and see if it makes a difference.

This is done in the Orders class in the
/includes/classes/order.php

You might do a compare of this file against the original ...
