Default Defining the number of an attribute option that have to be selected to checkout

    Hello

Is there a way of defining the number of an attribute option that have to be selected in order to check out. I have a test page to illustrate, the link is below.

    http://www.baysweets.co.uk/index.php...roducts_id=295

to explain further:- The Store sells sweets (candy) and I wish to allow a selection of 4 types of sweet from a possible 100+ types.

the customer needs to be allowed to check out only if they have selected 4

    hope someone can help

    many thanks

    Richard

Without a bunch of coding, your one option would be to create four drop-downs and make each required.
Would also be the easiest way to let a customer select two Acid Drops , one Banana and Custard, and one Drumsticks.
Your first selection in each would be "Please Select" set as default and for display only.

Thats a good idea, I guess the problem with it would be the length of the list required, it would be 100x4. Also good idea re. being able to select 2 of 1 item. I'll try this approach, thanks.

Can you put just one lot of product images below the 4x dropdowns, I'm guessing not. since the image is linked to the option name. is there anothey way to just insert all the images for reference in this instance.

    thanks for getting back

I would set it up as 1 set with the images and the others as just the dropdown or radio buttons ...

Do you have 100 different choices per each of the 4 peices?

Have to test and see how that works as that is a lot of output but depending on your server you may be able to do it ...
