After you have all your backups, I would start with your configure file. open up the back up version and your current version check to see if the paths are the same.

Um, I kinda figure that out after the fact LOL
Every site I have done other than this one has all be html so I just used FTP.
What about ftp'ing the old site from 09 back up? Do you think that would help?

Just a quick thought, some hosts keep a backup you can also check with them. I am a little nervous about your ftp backup, there has been times ftp backups were missing files for me. so do not delete anything until you have a c-panel backup. call your host if you dont know how to do it.

Yes, I thought of that too. I sent a help ticket in to see if they have a back up for me. I'm attaching a copy of my current configuration.php file. Does it look right???

The mods you installed did they have sql scrips? did you install any? if you upload the backup you will also have to fix the database. You will have to run the uninstall scrips that come with every mod. Otherwise your database will not match your installed mods and may not work properly.

Yes, I there was three lines to run from the admin that I did. I can get into the blasted admin but can't figure out why my site isn't working. Something seems off with my configuration.php files I think???

by every mod I mean the mods that come with sql install scrips.

(assuming you made your backup file) take your config file from your 09 backup. try uploading it, if you have not changed hosts sense then.

Only thing I can remember installing is just the coding that the came with the dual price mod. I know it is me and not the mod

make sure you use the config file located in your /includes/configure.php. First delete your current config file because if you can not overwrite it because of the file permissions. After uploading don't forget to change the file permissions back.
