Default Some missing data in admin after a port from 138a to 139c

    Hi all

I did a strange thing which for the most part has worked. Our old 138a cart had a lot of old mods we no longer use and code we dont want/need. I have installed a fresh cart 139c and currenly rebuilding my shop on the new version.

I have exported some of my sql tables from 138a. Customer, Orders, categoroes, etc... All seems to have come over OK.

The problem I have is this. In admin I now don't see the Shipping information on the invoice nor do I see the order total on the admin homepage. The data is in the database, I can see it still exists. Not on the order, the invoice or anything...

I quickly added my shipping information back into the backend as this was no done at the time but still no display.

Do I need to take the Orders sql update from the 138a to 139c update and apply that to resolve this? Or have I really messed things up?!

Hope someone can assist me. Many thanks
    Natty

The correct way to upgrade is to take your entire database and upgrade it all directly.

Instead, you've opted to manually hack in selected bits of information, and evidently you've missed parts of it.

You'll have to go back to a copy of your old database, upgrade it fully, and then copy the tables you decided weren't relevant.

You've definitely got a mess on your hands.

    Dear Mr DrByte,

Agreed! I did start working on it with not much thought. My intension was to pull my customers and orders over and I got carried away.

I'm now about to try doing it properly.

    Thanks for the steer.
