Can Registered phpbb users post items up for sale? ie: classifieds system?

I searched the forum, but didn't get any clear direction.

I have the latest PHPBB3 and registered users, but want my register users to be able to post up items for sale utilizing the ZEN shopping cart method kinda like a classifieds system.

Is this possible with Zen Cart? Thank you.

It has apparently been done, but would require a lot of custom coding. Better, I think, to use one of the scripts designed for that.

Hi Steve, any idea's to which script you recommend? I've been searching for an auction script that integrates with the latest PHPBB3 and found nothing.

I don't mind paying for such a package. It'll be a free offering for my users, so by offering it for free, I don't want to pay a few hundred for the software. I would rather use OpenSource and donate.
