paypal account upgrade?

Hi,
I have recently started my own online shopping website, with Zen cart as my shopping cart. Do i need to upgrade paypal to premier or business account to recieve payments, as i have had my first order, and it does not show up in my paypal account. I have set it up as instructed and was aware that after a payment it would show up straight away in Paypal, but it is not there.

yes, you will need at least a PREMIER account - and it should be VERIFIED as well, so that you can link it to your bank account, and also not have a ceiling on total transaction value.

ok then.. but will that affect my ebay? I do have things i sell on there too.

i just checked my paypal and i do have premier account and it is verified... so where would the money be?... so confused. its floating around somewhere in cyber space

Why exactly are you expecting money in your PayPal account?
Is it because you're seeing an order in your online store?
Does that order specifically say it was paid-for by PayPal?
What modules do you have listed in Admin->Modules->Payment? Which ones have green dots next to them?
What version of Zen Cart are you using?

yes i have received an order from my website, and my shopping cart has pay direct with credit card via paypal, thats why i am expecting it to go straight there. As for what version, i am not sure as i got an agency to make up my website.
