Which Products with Attributes Mod to use?

Hello everyone, I am in need of some (good ) advice. I would like to know which is the best Products with Attributes Mod to add to my site. I already have a shop with about 300+ products that do not require this. I really don't want it to show HOW MANY are in stock, just to either not show that Attribute at all or to show that it is out of stock. Here are my Questions/Concerns:

1) Which Mod should I use?
2) Will it display out of stock attributes? If yes, does it just say out of stock?
3) Will this mess anything up, or will I have to change anything with the other product that I already have setup that I don't need this functionality?

O.k., looks like you answered questions #1 and #2, but I am definitely concerned about #3. I have dealt with mods before, but not one that deals with perhaps impacting existing products as this one could.

I am running 1.3.8a, should I use a different file set?

How will this impact my existing products?

It won't ruin anything, but just like any other mod there is always risk. Backup, backup, backup should be your general rule befor installing a mod. Back up your zen-cart files and your database. Always use winmerge to check core files with modified changes to protect any other mods you may of installed on those core files

Now on the mod. It creates it own database file to store it's own stock information. It only pulls information from the Main product structure to bind it's product id's to the stock.
