Can any one tell me how to remove the description from the listings

Please see image one

also how to set them in boxes please see image 2

In the Configuration ... Product Listing ... change the setting for the description ...

Display Product Description
Do you want to display the Product Description?

0= OFF
150= Suggested Length, or enter the maximum number of characters to display

I have also managed to do the column layourt but can any one tell me how to put a boarder around each one (like on images 2 ) On first post
