    Default Discount Coupon Not Applied

    I created a coupon and sent it to myself to test and went and added things to my cart and then applied the coupon to my order. At step three it says(Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon) but the coupon does not reflect in the order total price. Has anyone had this problem.

    What version Zen Cart are you using?

    Clean install or an upgrade?

    What are your settings on the Discount Coupon and the Restrictions?

    Version 1.3.0.2
    Restrictions shouldn't matter cuz I even tried with nothing in my cart that is restricted

    Zen Cart v1.3.0.2 is so old and buggy I don't even know where to begin to try to resolve this ...

    You might try to install a test directory with v1.3.9d and a test database and copy your database to it an run the Upgrade Database on the test database ...

    Then see if things work correctly for you without any changes ...

    This would give you a place to start ...

    NOTE: be sure to do a copy of the Module settings to NotePad or something to remember them and then do a REMOVE, INSTALL and configuration for all modules for Payment, Shipping and Order Totals ...

    Hi friends, my problem is that any box for enter the coupon code appears at the chekout process.

    I revise the configuration and in the totalization modules is active with the number 280. The coupon is created and I send to myself. The restriction is also comprobed but in the checkout process the box for redempt the code don´t appear.

    Any idea?

    What kind of Discount Coupon have you defined?

    What are the Category and Product restrictions?

    What are the Zone Restrictions?

    What kind of Products are in the shopping cart?

    Does the Discount Coupon show as Active?

    What version of Zen Cart?

    Is this a Clean install or an Upgrade?

    If this is an Upgrade, what version did you upgrade from? What version did you Upgrade to?

    What happens if you switch to the Classic Template?

    You are using v1.3.7.1 which is so old I do not even have a copy of it installed ...

    I am not seeing the problem off hand ... you might try turning off the SEO/rewrites to test this ...

    NOTE: the current v1.3.9d has all of the current Security Patches and Updates as well as numerous Bugfixes and new and improved features available since v1.3.7.1 (2007-07-07) ...

    Hi Linda, and thank you very much for your time.

    I change the template to the Apple Zen and then I can see the discount coupons and git cerificates inputs, I think is about our template. Do you know what arcives, or .php files could I revise or can I change actual checkout archives from Apple zen template?
