    Default Overriding the pages folder files

    Hi ,

    I try to override the specials pages in the includes/modules/pages/specials path. How i can override this pages?? If i follow the normal overriding method it's not working. Like if i create a my template folder inside the pages folder then i copy and paste the specials folder. It's not accepting.. Can you help me on this???

    There is no override mechanism for the pages folders.

    If it is not there. How i can do that?? any other ways to do that?? Please give me any idea.. But i should follow only the zen cart way of approach..

    You are looking at some complicated coding and I doubt if you will get an answer in the Forum. You might, but I'm just preparing for what I think will happen.

    For what you want to do requires a somewhat intimate knowledge of Zen Cart, which I can guess at but wouldn't know how to do.

    For example, you would need to customize a core file:
    includes/modules/pages/specials/main_template_vars.php

    to work with a new file specifying your needs:
    includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_specials_custom.php

    There is always the Commercial Section of the Forum where you post Jobs and deal with people who are familiar with Zen Cart and the coding required, if it comes to that.
