Is there any ZenCart-way to alter an order - an ordered item can't be delivered. Using stock is not an option, as we are a portal and don't know the delivery status for sure before the order is patched through to the warehouse.

If I were a customer to your site, I would want to know when I checked out whether the products I ordered were available.
You would, wouldn't you... In this case it's just not possible and the customers are aware it. All the same, I'm very greatful for your reply - thanks!
