Default Transfer website to new domain

I created a custom zencart template with addons for my website and I am now starting a new website and want to use the same template and addons for it.
Basically I want to copy and transfer the website to a new domain.
What would be the best way to do this?

By this do you mean you want 2 sites running the same products on 2 seperate domains.

    or

    Transfer website to new domain
as your heading implies transfer your exsiting website to a new domain.

if it is the second option then your host can do this for you.

providing your addons dont need any modification to the database you could copy all the files used on your other site to your new domain along with the zc_install folder and do a clean install with a new database, login and change your template to the one you want and you are up and running

if your addons actually need to modify the database then you do as above, by copying all your files accross and doing a clean install, but when done, transfer the contents of your old database and overwrite the newly created database, that should give you a clone of your other site

Don't forget the two configure.php files that will need to reflect the correct information.

    Thanks for the replies.
The second website is a completely different website, but I put so much time into customizing the first website to a template that I really like with the addons that I want and I don't want to start all over on the second website. I just want to basically transfer the original website to the new website and then make the necessary changes.
I know its a simple thing to do, but i tried once before and it didn't work. So I'm going to try it again.
So all I need to do is transfer the public_html folder to the new website along with the zc_install and then change the configure files? No need to transfer the database, just start a new one right?

You could do that... But if your old website is an old zen cart then I would personally install a fresh 139d zen then install a copy of the template you have on your old site then if you know all the mods you have installed get the lastest versions from the download area and upload them at least from a security point of view your site will be upto date with the security patches. Would mean a bit more work but worth it in the end from a security point of view.
