    red flag Authorize.net Error 14

    Using V: v1.3.9d
    No upgrades
    No addons
    I am using a theme
    We're using Godaddy hosting

When we go through the checkout process, we receive this issue:
    (14) The referrer, relay response or receipt link URL is invalid.

I have contacted authorize.net and they said its an issue with the x_r_url variable being sent through the post array.

I'm not very familiar with the zen cart code but I understand PHP very well. Is there a specific place to print out the $_POST array or any way to verify this x_r_url or set it? Where is it assigned? What PHP file/line? What page/line is the information submitted to auth net?

Can anyone please let me know how to trouble shoot this?

We're using Authnet to do all the validation offsite and its failing at that point. I was under the impression that made it an authnet issue, but I spoke to a supervisor there and he insists its an issue with the x_r_url variable even though he couldn't tell me what x_r_url variable my site was submitting.

    The site is http://cartoucheandcoinshop.com

There is some reading on the Error 14 here:
    http://www.developer.authorize.net/t...nsereasoncode/

    Please help ASAP.

Assuming you're using the SIM module, since the more advanced AIM module doesn't require any settings for the "relay response URL".
The SIM setup instructions are posted here: http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?article=403

I have read the instructions and already followed them. Do you have any other advice or suggestions?

Turn on debug logging inside the module, and report back what it tells you it's sending vs receiving.

Okay, so there's nothing wrong with what Zen Cart is sending as the URL.
The problem is that you've not specified that URL in your Authorize.net profile settings as a valid Response/Receipt URL.
Go back to the authnet link you posted about reason codes, enter 14, and follow the instructions they give you there under SIM Integration Suggestions for adding a valid Response/Receipt URL.

Okay I got past the Error 14 screen.

    Now I get this:

An error occurred while trying to report this transaction to the merchant. An e-mail has been sent to the merchant informing them of the error. The following is the result of the attempt to charge your credit card.

    This transaction has been approved.

It is advisable for you to contact the merchant to verify that you will receive the product or service.

It's not returning me to my website or generating a receipt.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Ideally, it would return the customer to my store, show them a receipt and email them a receipt.

I'm trying it on a separate host now to try and eliminate the hosting possibility.

Now its letting me go through the checkout process, it goes to Authorize.net, I enter my information and it takes me back to my website with this error:

There has been an error processing your credit card. Please try again.

However the URL is still https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll which is a little confusing to me. My browsers address bar is still showing Authorize.net instead of my domain name.

I know my credit card information is correct.

I've tried it both with and without the ZIP file you attached.

    Any ideas?
