My website pages were getting found but I couldn't figure out why my homepage was not. I went to "view source" and the code <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" /> was there in the head!!
I have another zencart website and this code is not there.
This must be the reason why Google was not finding my homepage right?
How would this code have got there?
Where do I go to remove this code?
How do I know this same code is not appearing on any other pages and blocking them from the search engines?
I appreciate your replies. I've been trying to figure out why my homepage isn't being indexed for a long time now and I hope this soves the issue.
