red flag Shipping Weight Payment Module

    WTF

I need some help ASAP Please!!!

I have installed the Shipping weight Payment module which sets the shipping cost to that of the whatever number I have in as the item weight.... That being said I just had a customer place and order and it came up with a number which isn't even in the upload spread sheet.

Why would it be doing this and how do I fix it?

I have no other Shipping modules active.
I am using 1.3.8 as I have not yet upgraded this site.
Payment was made via Paypal if that matters.

I am guessing that you mean you are using the Per Unit perweightunit shipping module ...

What is the weight of the Product Ordered?

What is the weight used on the Order?

Some specifics might let us spot a pattern. What would you have expected the shipping charge to be in this instance, and what did it turn out to be ?

Has this happened in your testing, or for more than one order ?

I'm in this same spot as well. I thought it would be pretty straight forward, but it's not.

My shipping estimate comes to $9.70

Shipping cost per unit is $1.55
    shipping weight is 2
    Handling price is $1.95

I had hoped that I would set a minimum ship price, then once weight exceeded that minimum price, start adding per weight. I'll also have size exceptions as well. I don't mind coding up something custom, but I don't even know where to turn or to look.

    I'm lost.

Better yet, 3 items at 0.1 shipping weight at a price of $0.12 each comes to $7.07?

I'm finding no rhyme or reason. I've also read about tare in the FAQ and it almost made sense from my first example, but what makes it think I was shipping a large package? And what is up with $7.07?

Help please... I'm sure it will all make sense soon I hope.

My shipping cost is $150 internationally. The cost it charged was $43.50.

It did not happen in testing at all.

Do you have any Shipping modules installed that you are not using?

If so, you should click on REMOVE so that they are not half installed ...

What are your settings in Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

What are the settings in the Per Unit perweightunit shipping module that you are using?

What is the weight of the Product where this error is occuring?
