Default Site not updating immediately after changes

    Hello All,

I've noticed for a while now that when making changes to the store, if I am to go and view the frontend of the shop on a browser the changes don't seem to have taken affect. If I am to simply walk away from my PC and come back later and load the shop frontend up again then generally the changes have taken affect.
Just to state that either on Firefox or IE8, I am closing down the browser and deleting all temporary files before loading up the browser to view the shop.
The changes I have made that don't seem to take immediate affect are:-
    - define editor page changes
    - price changes
    - quantity changes
    - changes to various banner modules
    - ... the list goes on

I have not made any new installs into the shop (modules etc), I have done a detect and repair on the database (to no affect).

    Any ideas?

You might try adding the clear cache add-on for firefox. It's a lot simpler than what you are trying and deleting tmp files does not always clear cache.

Try googling clear cache in IE8. It's a little different from its predecessors. Doesn't mean IE8 works: it's just different.
