Problems with renaming ADMIN folder!

I have had major!! problems trying to rename my admin folder. Its NOT as easy as it says!!! I followed the insturctions on here exactly and every time I try it gives me a blank "The website cannot display the page" screen. I only changed the configure.php file in the admin/includes folder in the three spots where it says to change it. So then I try to change it back to admin and it still gives me a blank screen. All the permissions are set to 777 ?? Is there any other file you need to change?

My site is in a sub folder off the main - could that be causing some kind of problem?? It has a live domain pointing to that folder - www.toledotrade.com ?

What are you using to edit the file ? If Dreamweaver or something similar, it may be adding a space or line at the end of the file, which can cause that problem.

What version of Zencart ? If 1.3 9, check your /cache folder for error logs.

A good program for editing files is notepad++.
