Default Site in test. Move to live.

I am unfortunately using GoDaddy and I have completed my site upgrade on a separate database (not my live site) and tested. Everything is working except PayPal express and Authorize.net. (they are broken on my current site too--but that's a separate issue). I would like to move the upgraded site to my live store server and complete the payment troubleshooting there.

My live site is on /store and is in "down for maintenance" mode. My upgraded site is /store_new. I have read the upgrade documentation but want to see if my approach is correct.

    1. rename /store to another name like /store_old.
    2. rename /store_new to /store.
    3. within /store_new (now /store) change references of /store_new to /store within admin/include/configure.php and include/configure.php.
    4. delete /store_old files.
    5. delete database associated to /store_old

Is this the correct process and is there anything else I'm missing?

To move your site to live I would first do a full backup in the contol panel for both your site files and the database. Next go into php my admin on your dev site and make a copy of the database. Make a copy of the live database. Delete the live site files and upload your dev site files. Go to php myadmin and import your dev database, or just connect to your live database. Ajust both of the configure files to match the new database user name and passoword. In godaddys case your databases will be on sepereate servers so you will need to log into godaddy go to the my sql and get the database location. After moving the database and the files, and ajusting the config files it should all be working. If you had new customer signups or order you may want to go into phpmyadmin and copy in the new records.
    Hope this helps.

Which 1.3.x are you upgrading from?

1.3.9f doesn't have any database changes since 1.3.9d so it's an easy upgrade.
