How do I Change the "date added" date?

I've put some old products in, and now they are considered "new" as they are using today's date.

How do I move back the "date added" date on just a few products?

(I did search and did not understand the answers, as they were for more advanced users!)

Backup the database first

You will have to edit the date in the database for these items

In the future do not remove them just disable them

Could you tell me how to disable it? We are talking about the 'product added date' on the bottom of a page right? I really don't want the customer to see that. How do I disable this?

Can't tell u the exact location since I can't remember and am on my phone but that can be done from the admin. A simple Google search should return many solutions.
