log in and log off?

After I sign up on my website and log off. The next time I try to log on the log in page keeps telling me log in error?
Why doesn’t my website have a “logoff” option for customers?

If your template is correct, then the logoff option appears for those who are logged in. Most likely you are not actually getting logged in.

The issue is after i sign up,i dont dont see the log off button,
when i use the log id and pw and try to log back in it shows me a error,anyone know why that is?
