Default Re: Attribute Rollovers - By Nineve

    Hello:
I dowloaded the mod; copy de css lines; replaced the attributes.php, created new color attribute (dropdown) and added a value with image (200x200); however is not working and instead is displaying img color swatch twice; with firebug I can see the css is applying (attribRoll) however no rollover effect!
    Thanks

    sungmo,
1.3.8a is over 5 years old and EXTREMELY vulnerable to being hacked. You should at least move to 1.3.9h as soon as possible. If all your installed mods are 1.5 capable, then you should upgrade to 1.5.0.

    thanks dbltoe..~~

however I can not do that because my website was opened in public long time ago... so it is not easy to upgrade to 1.5.0..~~

anyway i want to use Attribute Rollovers with v1.3.8a... there is no solution?

The only solution for your customers and your business is to upgrade.
If you follow the instructions, it IS easy to upgrade.
Anyone who assists you with perpetuating 1.3.8a is (IMHO) aiding and abetting.

This is the 2nd time I have installed this add-on and love it!

I do have 2 minor problems I would like to get solved to polish this aspect of the cart.

    1) How do I center the thumbnail image itself. I understand each image is its own div which is float:left. But I would like the images to be centered within their divs and above their name.

    2) If I have more than 1 option, such as fabrics, arms, and casters ... how do I get the 2nd, 3rd, etc options to not wrap?
Have a look at the following web page ... this is the first product I've loaded so I can deal with layout design. No matter if I put Arms first or Fabrics, the 2nd option doesn't start on it's own line ... it wraps within the previous options. Hope you understand what I'm saying.

Preferably, I would like Arms first (which I know how to do) since it has the fewest choices and won't be forgotten. But the "Fabric Choice" and drop down end up being on the same line as the 2 arms choices. Similar idea if I switch the order of the 2 options.

    Thanks in advance.

Another question that popped up ...

I'm working with office chairs where the vendors can have a LOT of fabric choices. As mentioned in another thread I had started some time ago, the choices can be daunting and by the time the customer figures out which one they want, they have to scroll all the way back up to reach the drop down selection box.

Is there anyway to add a radio button next to each thumb and, if applicable, the upsell price with the attribute name?

Don't know ... just thinking out loud.

    Heya.

Yes, I agree that everyone should be on the latest version of Zencart. I am. But I still need help with my above posts, please. It's just a simple CSS type question ... but for the life of me, nothing I do will work. Thanks!
