Display products in category same style as special products

Hi,

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.9 and i am having one problem. When customer click on a category products are displayed in rows as you can see on image1. What i want is that this products to be displayed same as products on Specials page (image2). Is this possible and how can i do this? I have already installed Column_Layout_Grid addon but and it displays products in columns but style is not same as on Specials page...

Look for another 3rd party addon "Single Listing Template" and you might need to adjust for the display you want but the steps are similar

I have installed Single Listing Template as you told me and products are displayed in columns but thing is that in Specials page every product have its own border so each product is separated and this is what i need. I need that products are displayed in column but that every product have border around just like on Specials page..

Is it possible to use Specials page template for category product listing?

Yes, but you would have to roll your own

There is a long thread by yellow1912 where there is discussion on using other displays as the base for a single list type
