Download's status set to 'Delivered' automatically?

Hi,

I have a site where users can choose between purchasing physical cd's or digital downloads.

I would like to set order status to 'delivered' manually for cds that must be posted out so customers can see it's on it's way and for my own record.

But there is no need for this to happen with downloads and a successful download order should set to delivered automatically.

Is there a way to do this?

Well I take it by your reply the answer is no. But logically, the automatic 'Delivered' status would be set for 'any orders containing only downloads".

I get alot of downloads and it's very time consuming to go into each and every order to see if it was a download or not and them update the orders individually for downloads.

On the other hand the sytem works well for cd orders as I'm using PDF order center and it updates the selected orders to Delivered when i print the labels and invoices, which is very convenient and logical.

Combined orders are a rarity.

One would have to construct an if/else condition that checks if order is only downloads
