Ok, will do.
Thanks so very much for all the help!
Ok, I have tried removing the second slash a number of times both in my FTP and from my hosting site and it will not let me. I continue to get this error;
Error
Cannot save configure_php
I contacted my hosting company and asked them about it, and they said it was normal and would not effect anything, but then in the same breath said what its doing is trying to access the site twice. Well that tells me that its not normal and could very well be contribiting to the slow loading issue.
Any suggestions?
Check if your files, on the server are actually being changed ...
Most likely you have the files set to 444 and these cannot be overwritten via FTP ...
Change the permissions to 644 and then load the files ... then go to your Control Panel for your domain to change the permissions back to 444 ...

in your Cpanel open the file manager , find the file you want to change permissions to then right click it , now you should be able to change permissions ?
Ok thanks. I found this, switched to 644 it unchecked some of the boxs, I then went and removed the extra slash. It say error and did not change anything. When I go back to the permissions, it is xxx again and everything is checked again. So I dont know what the heck I am doing wrong...
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
When I type in 644 in the file permission area through my FTP this is what I get at the top; 500'SITE CHMOD 644 stylesheet.css': command not unterstood
