customer cant get download

i am using zen v1.3e
i have looked in the forum and been pulling my hair all day

i am having problems with customers getting downloads,even myself as i did a test

i have zip files in my store/download folder,
i have them linked in the atribute controller and they are green and is enabled,so path is correct but nope dont work
,i also looked in customer order and they are green/avalible as well

i have a new domain name and this is subdirectory,i made a folder for this domain and put my index and installed my store into there also,

any help before im bald lol

What *exactly* does "customer cant get download" mean?

What are you expecting it to do that it's not doing?
