UPS XML Won't ship to Korea or Croatia

Hello Zen Carters,

Just recently I had a customer contact me from Croatia saying he couldn't proceed to the checkout screen and that there was no way for him to choose a shipping method.

I've since tested his address and it's true. We cannot get orders from Croatia, South Korea, and other countries as well. Although many other countries work just fine.

Ups has told me to email them a file with all XML requests and responses in a zip file. Not sure what files to include.


Any help would be appreciated.

Different countries have different rules ...

When testing the shipping, which are you using for Korea:
Korea, Democratic People's Republic of
Korea, Republic of

on the country dropdown for the Ship To address?

As to the files, all shipping code files are in:
/includes/modules/shipping

and language files are in either:
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/your_template_dir

the names of the files would be matched, such as the original UPS file being:
ups.php

The UPS XML is most likely:
upsxml.php

In the shipping estimator window, it doesn't show anything in the table under available shipping methods or rates.

I will attempt to send the relevant files to UPS for their review.

I will update this concern when I have more information.

I don't believe that UPS ships to North Korea (Korea, Democratic People's Republic of) ... just South Korea ... (Korea, Republic of) check with UPS on that ...

good point. i used the wrong korea. Now it displays the rate and shipping method. thanks for finding that.

But how about Croatia?

If you look in the Locations / Taxes ... Countries ... what settings do you see for Croatia?

What Zip Code are you using for Croatia?

What weight are you testing?

What are your settings in Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging?

I cannot reproduce a problem with the regular UPS shipping module that comes with Zen Cart ...

Can you try the regular UPS shipping module that comes with Zen Cart and see if you are having errors in it as well?

i am testing a 5lb box to Croatia.

Settings are:

Not sure what else could be going on. The state field was tried with both city and country as the state field of the address must be completed.

Oh, and the zip code being used was 10370.
