Default Odd behaviour of table rate ( weight )

    Hi there

First of all, thanks to the zc community for your usefull support and help.

    I use this forum often

    This is my first post.

I have a problem with table rate

I add a few products to my cart,

    then proceed to checkout

in the shipping estimator it says

    Total Items: 4 Weight: 52kg Amount: 359,88€

    WICH IS CORRECT

but in the available shipping methods ( 200 pixels above, in the same window ) its says

    Table rate (1 x 55.00kg)

    WICH IS INCORRECT

the difference is 3 kgs more

nomatter what products/prices/kgs are in the cart

it allways adds 3 kgs as in the above example

    Any Idea?

all other shipment methods are disables / uninstalled

thanks and have a great day

Check the settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... you have the Tare Rates set to add more weight to the Order ... set them to: 0:0 so that nothing extra is added ...

Also, if dealing in kg, the Maximum Weight of 50 may be too small and you will want to raise that if you are using things like Zone Rates zones or Table Rate table ...

NOTE: if using shipping modules such as UPS and USPS that get Real Time rate quotes, most work in pounds/ounces and there isn't a translation for kg ... this is just a number and not a true unit of measure that gets translated ...
