Using Shopping Cart Without Payment Gatework

I have a client who would like to use a shopping cart system with his website, however he doesn't make many sales as of yet to justify the costs of providing online payment options. It is mostly just a local business which ships locally (Auckland, New Zealand).

I was wondering if Zen Cart can be used as a shopping cart, but instead of processing online payments, have the shopping order just emailed to the owner of the business so he can process payment himself.

There are lots of payment options in Zen Cart. You could set it up as "check/money order" and change the wording to have customers contact the owner. You could use Paypal which doesn't require any processor on your site and does not have monthly costs.
If you want to have the customer's card info sent to the owner, you will have to install the CEON manual card mod, as the built-in one was deleted in the latest version for security reasons (it's really not a safe way to work).
